About the job
Do you have a drive for change and want to be part of our journey in our new department Common Functions? In the new department, we have gathered functions such as finance, analysis, procurement, premises, customer service, communication, personnel, and development. We are also at the beginning of our AI journey, and several initiatives are underway for us to benefit from the opportunities that can be created with the help of AI in the coming years.
One of the section's missions is to work with strategic issues in the field of digitization. Our responsibilities also include coordinating the authority's work with research and innovation issues, as well as managing and coordinating the development and maintenance of authority-wide services. As a strategic business developer, you will play a crucial role in advancing the authority's digitization efforts. You will steer and coordinate various internal digitization initiatives and participate in collaboration both nationally and internationally. You will be part of the section for Information Management and Digitization along with approximately 20 colleagues. The section's employees are located in Norrköping, Örebro, Borlänge, and Kista.

You will
- develop and manage the authority's strategic goals and translate them into action
- steer and coordinate the work with authority-wide digital services
- engage in dialogue with various operations regarding authority-wide solutions and translate their needs into common services
- monitor the external environment and analyze trends
- conduct analyses and write decision-making documents, strategy documents, and reports
- work with various groups within the authority but also with other actors in the public and private sectors
- participate in national collaboration in the field of digitization and handle consultations from, for example, the government and other authorities.
You must have
- a university degree of at least 180 credits (120 points) in a relevant field for the position or other equivalent experience that the Swedish Transport Agency assesses as equivalent
- current multi-year experience in driving strategic development work in digitization
- experience in leading complex development or innovation projects
- experience in change management
- good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English.
It is advantageous if you also have
- experience in research and innovation work
- experience in the development and management of common services
- good understanding of a data-driven approach and various techniques within AI, such as machine learning and generative AI
- collaborated and built networks, both internally and externally
- experience in architecture
- experience in service design
- experience in public sector work.

The employment is permanent with placement in Norrköping or Örebro. Appointment according to agreement. We normally apply a probationary employment. As an employee with us, there is an opportunity to work remotely up to three days a week. It is the needs of the operations and the nature of the tasks that determine whether and to what extent this is possible. An employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security review with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted. For some of our tasks in security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
